Dr. Antal is a board certified, licensed clinical psychologist. She began her educational path with a bachelor's degree in psychology from Flagler College, graduating summa cum laude. She completed a masters and doctoral degree in clinical psychology at the University of Southern Mississippi. Dr. Antal completed her residency at the University of Louisville School of Medicine and her fellowship at Nemours Children's Health. Dr. Antal has over 20 years of experience working in healthcare. She has conducted research within a variety of areas including diabetes and understanding the consent/assent process in biomedical research. In addition to her research and clinical expertise, Dr. Antal has experience in assessing and improving patient satisfaction within the healthcare setting. She is an expert in well-being and has presented her work nationally and internationally. Dr. Antal is a trained executive coach and has completed an ICF-certified coaching program.
Being in healthcare for over 20 years, Dr. Antal has witnessed the evolution of the healthcare space and other industries, leading to a struggle for individuals in aligning their values and identity with the pursuit of their professional goals. Using a strengths-based and well-being approach, Dr. Antal helps clients pursue their goals, increase confidence and self-efficacy, improve decision-making and realize outcomes that are impactful in their daily lives. Balancing a deep knowledge of psychology, communication, problem-solving, and well-being, Dr. Antal engages collaboratively with her clients to meet their unique needs. Dr. Antal is well-acquainted with the challenges of integrating family life, parenting, career pursuits and individual wellness. Outside of work, Dr. Antal enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and pursuing athletic endeavors including strength/conditioning and running."
